Spicy Millet Pudding | |||||
Puttu flour – 1 cup
Hot Water – 1 cup
Oil – 2 tablespoon
Mustard – ½ teaspoon
Bengal Gram Dal – 1 teaspoon
Urad dal – 1 teaspoon
Asafoetida Powder – a pinch
Onion Chopped – 2 tablespoons
Green Chillies chopped – 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves – few
Lemon Juice – few drops
Salt – ½ teaspoon or as per taste
Ingredients : 1. Little Millet Powder - 500 gm 2. Oil - 3 tbsp 3. Mustard - Little 4. Splitted Blacckgram - 1 tsp 5. Bengalgram - 1 tsp 6. Cumin - 1 tsp 7. Curry Leaves - little 8. Coriander leaves - little 9. Chopped Tomato - 1 10. chopped small onion - 250 gm 11. Dry red chillies - 4 12. Salt - as needed Method : 1. First Sieving the millet flour, add cumin, salt along it. Then knead like pudding. marinate it for 5 minutes. Then boil it in idly cooker for 10 minutes. 2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, blackgram, bengalgram, curry leaves, small onion, chillies, tomato and salt one by one. Fry and stir until oil seperates. Then add boiled flour pudding along it and stir well. Sprinkle the coriander leaves and turn off the stove. |
